Work

The primary function of the work module is to conduct and complete inspections. It also includes the capability to manage the detailed execution of inspections.
Create inspection tasks
- Navigate to the Work submodule.
- Review the overview of all project groups in the table view.
- Locate the Project Status column and look for the status "Collected." A status of "Collected" indicates that the project group is ready for task creation.
- If the project groups are ready for task creation, the Create Task button will be enabled; otherwise, it will be disabled.
- Click the Create Task button in the module bar.
- The Create New Work Task popup screen will appear, displaying the Project Group and Assign To dropdown lists.
- Click the Project Group dropdown to view the list of project groups with the status "Collected," and select the appropriate group.
- Select the Assignee (the inspector who will conduct the inspection) from the Assign To dropdown list.
- Click Confirm.
- Navigate to Work Tasks in the navigation pane and click on it.
- Verify that the assigned tasks are visible in the main content area, along with the project group overview.
- Repeat the process to create multiple inspection tasks as needed.
Navigation to asset detail page
- In the Work submodule, navigate to the Work Tasks tab.
- Locate the task for which the inspection work needs to be started.
- Find the Open in Inspect button at the end of the row in the table view.
- Click Open in Inspect.
- The overview of the inspection task will be displayed, showing details such as the total number of assets, the number of observations, and the due date.
- Double-click on the asset that needs to be inspected.
- The asset detail page will be displayed, with images associated with the selected asset shown as an image gallery at the bottom of the window, and the selected image displayed in a larger size.
- Switch between images by sliding through the image gallery or using the horizontal scrollbar.
- In the Asset Information section of the details pane, view an overview of the asset. In the Issue section, log any issues encountered during the inspection. In the Observations section, see all registered and verified observations. The Suggestions section displays AI-generated suggestions. Finally, in the Location section, a mini-map shows the current asset’s location as a blue dot, with associated images represented as white dots.
- Click the button containing the asset number to navigate to another asset.
Conduct inspection
- On the asset details page, click the + button to enable the defect registration section.
- Mark the area in the area where the defect should be registered using the mouse cursor. Left click, hold and drag the cursor to create a bounding box of correct size.
- Navigate to the Observation Registration section in the details pane.
- Click to expand the Select Observation Type section.
- Search for the component and select the observation from the list, or pick the component from the recently used area.
- Select the severity level (optional).
- Set other available properties (optional)
- Add a comment if needed (optional).
- Click the Confirm button (this button becomes available ones all required properties have been set).
- Please note there can be additional or fewer observation properties depending on the customer specific configuration.
- Once all necessary observations have been registered on the asset click the Complete button at the bottom right to mark the asset as completed. You will be navigated to the next asset in the inspection automatically.
- When satisfied with the inspection of all assets in the task, navigate to the Task Overview page and change the status of the task to Completed.
Approve inspection work
- If the inspection require quality assurance (QA) the QA responsible can view all tasks that have been completed in the task page in the work module.
- Identify the task to conduct QA on and open in Inspect.
- Review each asset. If an observation should be added or amended you can click on the button containing the check mark and asset name to the bottom right of the page to open to asset to be editable.
- Add or modify the observation and complete the asset again and move on to the next asset.
- When the QA responsible is satisfied with all assets in the project group the QA responsible can change the status of the project group to Approved.
Note: PLEASE NOTE THAT A PROJECT GROUP CAN'T BE EDITED AFTER IT HAS BEEN APPROVED. THIS IS BECAUSE THE OBSERVATIONS FROM THE ASSET WILL BE PUBLISHED FOR ANYONE WITH ACCESS TO THE PARTICIPANT TO SEE AND MUST THEREFORE BE ABLE TO TRUST IN THE DATA.
- The data from the approved project group is now available to view in Report and Asset Explorer.
